Mr. Roedding Recognized by Chamber of Commerce
Dustin Roedding is a dynamic one of a kind educator. He has postively influenced students at Sanford Middle School for three years. He has taught 7th grade Geography and Civics, and is an active boys volleyball coach. During his time at Sanford, Mr. Roedding has mentored new teachers; influenced veteran teachers through his leadership role with the Civics curriculum; and positively impacted the lives of our athletes by pushing them on the courts, and tracking their academics to ensure they're successful.
Mr. Roedding's students are building their background knowledge in order to understand complicated texts. They are identifying the purpose for reading non-fiction pieces and making connections throughout his lessons. Most of all, Mr. Roedding challenges his students to meet the next academic objective by emphasizing quality work. He does this by differentiating instruction, scaffolding his questions, and providing examples where possible. Mr. Roedding has the distinct ability to make the work relevant to all students. He is one of our very best, and for this we are proud to honor him. |
