MathCounts Team

Takes 2nd Place at

State Competition


The Sanford Middle School MathCounts team enjoyed another outstanding year of competition. The team finished in 1st place in the chapter for the 3rd year in a row then followed that up with a 2nd place finish in the state. Individually, at the state competition, competing against over 225 students from 48 other middle schools, Aradhya Kasera finished in first place in the written competition and 2 nd place overall, Jimmy Qin placed 7th overall and Sam Li placed 24th.
