Track and Field 2011-2012
Sign-up will begin on 2/21/2012 in room 2-218. The 1st track practice will be on Monday, 2/27/2012. All practices will be held on Monday and Friday from 4:00-6:00 pm. All meets are after school on Wednesday beginning at 4:30. The County meet is on 4/21/2012 at Lyman High School.
Required forms and fee:
- Release and consent
- Sports physical signed by a doctor
- Form 985 notarized
- Sport fee of $45

Sanford Middle School Students
Compete at the Seminole County
Middle School Track Meet Congratulations to our SMS 2010 Track and Field teams for an outstanding performance at the Seminole County Middle School Competition on May 22nd. Our athletes’ demonstrated excellent running skills by capturing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in many of the events they competed in. Despite the heat, many of our runners began their day with a 1600 meter run at 8:30 in the morning and finished out the day with a 4 x 400 meter relay that afternoon. Talk about endurance!!! In addition to some outstanding running performances, Sanford Middle students also did extremely well in the field events capturing several top positions. A list of our top performers is listed below. Thank you to all track runners for a job well done.
