Volleyball Club 2011-2012

Volleyball club is open to all students at Sanford Middle School. The club will begin in January and run until May. We will meet the first and third Tuesday of each month in the gym from 4-6. There is no cost to participate.  All players must have a release and consent form on file with Coach Paris to participate.

Boys Volleyball

Sanford Middle School's boys volleyball program has an 8 week season in the fall, starting in August and ending in the beginning of November. During that time we play 8 regular season games and have a tournament in November to establish the county champions for the year. In 2008-2009 the SMS boys volleyball team won the county championships, claiming the title for Sanford Middle. Throughout the season the coaches work with the players in improving passing, serving, setting, and hitting skills. Students need no prior experience to tryout but will need to be coachable, motivated, and on top of their grades. We look forward to many good seasons and teaching the boys of Sanford Middle about sportsmanship, being an athlete, and taking pride in their school. GO SMS!
