Sanford Middle School

It is my privilege to introduce Felicia Naidu as Sanford Middle’s Teacher of the Year.  Ms. Naidu is especially knowledgeable in helping students with exceptional needs.  She regularly meets the needs of her students by studying as much data as is available for her to make wise instructional decisions.

Ms. Naidu works tirelessly as a regular volunteer at our local Boys and Girls Club; has lead school initiatives aligned to our school mission and vision; has earned a Masters Degree from Stetson University in Educational Leadership within the past two years; is our pep-rally liaison; our lead coordinator for our faculty at the teacher store; and is a lead teacher in the development of Sanford Middle’s inclusion program.  Ms. Naidu is also a mentor for beginning teachers through her involvement in N.E.S.T program and is also a part of our school’s Leadership Training Program.

Felicia Naidu was nominated a district-finalist for Seminole County Public Schools.  We are proud to call her Sanford Middle’s Teacher of the Year.  We thank her for reminding us that it only takes one person, sometimes playing many different roles, to positively impact a child.
